Eric The Red

Thanks for the thought, I like the quote.

Despite the nomenclature that you have worn since I can remember ... (see above) I've always thought of you more as Baldur.

Watch out for relatives playing games.

Thinking about it the same was true for Eric the Red. Political manouvering not his strength he got move on notices everywhere he went. Not that they were unwarranted evictions but he definitely got no help from the family ties and then Leif well he had little choice but to discover a new world he couldn't be his fathers son in the "civilized norse realm"

Ever wonder what the boys will need to deal with growing up as our children? They have their own issues too of course. I still am dealing with the autism spectrum thing ... yours and mine, opposite end of the country same diagnosis. Mother of course doesn't see what all the fuss is about. Does that mean we are all just Baileys or just Mowats?

Speaking of family http://www.baileyfamilytree.net/ I think ... My new project an online database for our family. I may have gotten stuck though at the security stage. What do you think? Only give access to a trusted few and hope no one messes the whole thing up or build it with logging and rollback built in so I can undo any individuals changes/additions to any given point? (yes the latter is WAY more work)

Let me know.

There seems to be a fine line that is walked with this diagnosis. My wife's family (my wife, her brother, and her dad) all have some tendancies that are like my son's, but it is because of how bright they are and how they see the world differently and people differently because of that brain power (Mom has the same kind of thing). So there seems to be some connections between autism and genius, yet if it goes to far it falls back down the slope away from genius.

I am somewhat sure that part of the difficulty the boys experience in learning (the "delayed development") in some areas are more to do with being too smart in other areas and not seeing things the same as kids their age.

It's me again. I thought I should comment on the part that you asked for comment regarding. If you are really concerned about names and such (as it looks like I am from my blog) then a log in system would be the best way to go. I am sure that if someone wants information on me or my family it wouldn't take long to find it.

The simplest way would just to be a page that is not linked to other pages and the only way in is if you know the extentions. I'm probably not using the right terms, but I'm not really all that internet knowledgable.
