Steadfast, faithful these are words to describe a decision to do what you don't want to do.
When I am coaching soccer, and I have to take Liam away to the bathroom, I get another parent to take over coaching for me. While I am away, I suddenly just don't want to go back. I am ready to walk away. Instead of doing it, I go back and get into the moment again and enjoy coaching 5-6 year olds playing soccer.
